With the Grand Opening 24/03/2023 shower heralds its intro - the seven artists from different origins, backgrounds and walks of life present works that could not be more diverse.
Everyday surfaces, objects and habits of seeing, social structures and humanity are thematised and Nicolás Duponts yet humorous paintings, Georg Brückmanns illusionistic photography or Ruth Ungers sculptural installation. A monumental breast, whose mother's milk spurts out and ebbs away in a drain, divides the space.
While Lauriane Dine In her prints, she brings out a gentle fullness through the deliberate emptiness of individual pictorial planes. Stefan Schwarzers almost psychedelic experience of nature, a natural wall growing before our eyes.
Oliver Stäudlin shows a dystopian scenery that oscillates between irrepressible power and an inner calm. Free of any narration, the film creates Jurek Rotha in his latest work a cosmos that makes us question our understanding of objects and spatial dimensions.
An artistic discourse determined by divergence and convergence between the individual positions emerges and invites - the multimedia group exhibition offers the ideal opportunity to discover each artistic practice in a non-hierarchical presentation and in the context of the Galerie shower to experience.
